Access & subscription
Why is access paid?
Running a sample-sharing platform requires storage, bandwidth, maintenance, moderation, backups, and server infrastructure.
Rather than relying on advertising or selling user data, we use a subscription model to keep the platform sustainable and continuously improve the service.
The subscription also helps support future creator rewards and platform development.
What does Premium include?
Premium unlocks the full library: browse, preview, search, and download without limits.
Members can upload once per day (reviewed by our team). Certified creators get unlimited uploads and instant publishing.
Premium is also required to apply for the Creator Program and sell sample packs on your profile.
Why isn't unlimited uploading free?
Every uploaded sample generates ongoing costs for the platform, including storage, previews, indexing, moderation, and downloads.
In addition, allowing completely unrestricted uploads would make it difficult to maintain a sustainable service and fairly support creators in the future.
Our goal is to create a balanced ecosystem where both users and creators contribute to the growth of the library.

What is included in the free plan?
Sign up free for downloads and uploads. No credit card required.
Anyone can browse the library and listen to the 25 most recent matching samples without an account.
Signed-in free accounts can preview up to 25 samples from the library at a time (same filters and search as Premium).
You get 1 upload per day (max 10 MB). Each upload unlocks 1 download that day from the 25-preview library window.
Browse, search, and preview help you discover the catalog before upgrading.
Why is the free plan limited?
One of the biggest challenges for sample platforms is protecting creators' content.
If unrestricted access were available, some users could archive or redistribute large portions of the library without supporting the platform or the creators who contributed the content.
Daily limits and a 25-sample preview cap let new users try AGORED SOUNDS while keeping the service sustainable.
Can I become a creator on the free plan?
No. The Creator Program requires Premium. Apply once subscribed to unlock unlimited uploads, instant publishing, the certified badge, and your profile store.
When do my free limits reset?
Download and upload quotas reset every day at midnight (server time).
The 25-sample preview window reflects your current library view. Subscribe for full access to the entire catalog.
Creator program
What is the Creator Program?
The Creator Program is designed for producers, musicians, sound designers, and sample creators who want to contribute content and grow alongside the platform.
To become a certified creator, you must have Premium and apply. We review each submission to maintain a high-quality library.
Once certified, creators can upload without daily limits, publish instantly, gain visibility, and sell Sample Packs through the platform.
How do I join the Creator Program?
Subscribe to Premium, sign in to your AGORED SOUNDS account, and submit an application from the Creators page.
You will be asked to share a portfolio or streaming link, describe your production style, and explain how you contribute to the heavy music community.
Our studio team reviews every application manually. Acceptance depends on the quality and relevance of your work. Certification is not automatic.
How can I make money as a creator?
Creators can already earn money by selling complete Sample Packs through the platform.
Sample Packs are currently limited to 50 MB per file to help manage storage and infrastructure costs during the early stages of the project.
As the platform grows and becomes more sustainable, we plan to increase these limits and introduce additional monetization opportunities for creators.
Our long-term goal is simple: reward the people who help build the library.
Do creators keep ownership of their content?
Yes. Creators retain ownership of the samples and Sample Packs they upload.
Uploading content simply grants the platform permission to distribute that content according to the platform's terms and licensing system.
How much do creators keep from Sample Pack sales?
Creators keep 80% of every Sample Pack sale. The remaining 20% helps cover payment processing, hosting, storage, and platform development.
How do creator payouts work? Is my money safe?
Sample Pack sales are processed through Stripe Connect, the same payment infrastructure used by major platforms worldwide.
When you are certified, you connect your own Stripe account through a secure Stripe onboarding flow. AGORED SOUNDS never holds your earnings in a platform wallet.
On each purchase, your share of the revenue is routed directly to your connected Stripe account according to the 80/20 split. Stripe handles payment security, fraud protection, and compliance.
You manage payouts, tax details, and bank transfers from your Stripe dashboard. AGORED SOUNDS does not store or control your payout balance.

Is this just another version of Splice?
Not exactly. While the concept is inspired by platforms such as Splice, our focus is different.
We are building a platform specifically for metal, metalcore, deathcore, hardcore, rock, and modern heavy music creators.
Our mission is to provide sounds, samples, and creative tools tailored to a community that is often underserved by mainstream sample platforms.
